Providing Maximum Recovery

Understanding the claims process can be frustrating. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. We’ll help you through each step and ensure you get the largest compensation possible.

Rifkin & Rosen office plazaWhen you suffer a property loss due to fire, smoke, water, wind or any natural disaster, it’s an extremely stressful time. Adding to that stress is that it’s your responsibility (not the insurance company’s) to document any losses and damage.

The burden of proof is on you.

As a homeowner, all you want to do is get your life back in order. Documenting your losses is tedious and time-consuming. As a business owner, you face even greater challenges with the added complexities of large inventories, business interruption, determining the value of replacement cost, depreciation and co-insurance.

Without an NJ public adjuster working on your behalf, you could end up with a much smaller settlement. Or worse yet, you’re claim could be denied altogether.

Why choose Rifkin & Rosen?

As the only firm in New Jersey whose team includes both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a lawyer, our understanding of the financial, legal and corporate sides of the insurance industry is unrivaled.

For more than 50 years, we’ve been protecting our clients’ interests. We’ve successfully handled thousands of claims. Our team will help guide you through the insurance and recovery process, making it as stress-free as possible.

Regardless of whether the loss you’ve suffered is big or small, commercial or residential, our services will pave the way to a timely and successful recovery.

How we work with you

  1. After we’re contacted regarding a loss, we’ll meet with you and do a preliminary inspection.
  2. Next, we meet with the insurance company and review the damages.
  3. We then have our building estimators prepare detailed damage estimates.
  4. At this point, our contents estimators prepare a detailed inventory of all damages to building contents.
  5. The final step is to submit the claim details and expertly negotiate with the insurance company for a settlement with which you’ll be 100% satisfied.
